An exhibition on the art of the interwar period, which presents 32 works by 15 different authors whose work is located chronologically between the years 1919 and 1940. The exhibition aims to show the multiple stylistic and cultural connections between the art developed in the artistic context of the Basque Country and contemporary European modern currents. Through the exhibited works we can see references to Italian metaphysical painting, the new German objectivity, cubism, futurism and surrealism, an artistic movement that penetrated strongly among the youngest Gipuzkoan artists in the early thirties.
